By default, your trading bot is set to automatically close a trade when the stop-loss or take-profit is hit. However, you can easily customize this behavior to better fit your trading style — including choosing to receive a notification email instead of automatically closing the trade.
Here’s how to adjust these settings:
1. Open Your Bot Settings
Navigate into the bot you want to update.
Click the gear icon in the top right corner to open the bot's settings.
2. Go to the Management Rules Tab
In the settings menu, select the Management Rules tab.
Scroll down until you find:
What to do when stop-loss is hit
What to do when take-profit is hit
3. Choose Your Preferred Action
By default, both actions are set to Exit Trade.
To change it:
Click the dropdown next to each option.
Choose Notification Only if you want the bot to send you an email notification instead of automatically closing the trade.
Note: You can set different behaviors for stop-loss and take-profit — they are managed separately.
4. Save Your Changes
After setting your preferences, click Save to update your bot.
Important:
If you select Notification Only, the bot will not automatically exit the trade when the stop-loss or take-profit is reached.
Instead, you will receive an email notification so you can manually decide whether or not to close the trade.
