$ ITM (Dollar In the Money)
The $ ITM method selects a strike based on a specific dollar amount in the money (ITM). "In the money" means the strike price is already favorable compared to the current price of the underlying asset, increasing the likelihood of assignment for sellers (and immediate intrinsic value for buyers).
Example:
If the current price of the underlying stock is $100 and you set $50 ITM, the auto trader will pick a strike price that is $150 strike for puts or $50 strike for calls.
When to use: Use this method if you want to control the strike selection by specifying a fixed dollar distance away from the underlying asset price.
