Auto Trader Linking is a powerful new feature that lets two bots work together by automatically triggering one another based on custom actions. Whether you're looking to hedge risk or take advantage of market trends, Auto Trader Linking makes it possible to build smarter, more dynamic strategies.
Auto Trader Linking allows one bot to trigger another bot based on specific actions. For example:
When one bot opens or closes a trade
When a certain number of trades are active
This opens up entirely new levels of automation, including hedging, trend-based strategy shifts, and more.
Let’s say you have a primary income bot running a strategy like the ES 90D 1-1-2. You want to hedge the trades it opens to limit downside risk.
Open your income bot
Click the link icon (Auto Trader Linking)
Click “Add a Trigger”
Choose an action — e.g., "When this bot opens a trade"
Specify the trigger condition (e.g., 3 open trades)
Select the hedging bot and choose the action ("Enter a trade")
Now, once your income bot opens 3 trades, the hedge bot will automatically place a trade to protect your position.
Tip: You can adjust the trigger ratio — for example, enter 1 hedge for every 2 income trades, or trigger a hedge for every trade individually.
You can also use Auto Trader Linking to shift strategies based on market direction.
Example: Start with a bullish strategy like a Put Credit Spread. If that trade gets stopped out, you may want to switch to a bearish strategy.
Open your bullish strategy bot
Click the link icon
Click “Add a Trigger”
Set the trigger to fire when the bot exits a trade
Link it to a bearish strategy bot and select “Enter a trade”
Now, if your bullish trade exits (e.g., stop-loss hit or take-profit reached), the bearish bot automatically takes over — helping you trade both directions without missing a beat.
Automate protection with hedging logic
Adapt to trends and changing market conditions
Reduce manual management of multiple bots
Create more advanced strategies with ease
You’ll find the Auto Trader Linking feature by clicking the link icon at the top of any bot.
From there, just add a trigger and choose the linked bot and action — it’s that simple.
