The Relative Strength Index (RSI) Entry Settings allow you to control when your bot enters a trade based on momentum and overbought/oversold conditions. By selecting a timeframe and RSI threshold, you can make sure trades only happen when market strength aligns with your strategy.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is a momentum oscillator that measures the speed and size of recent price changes on a scale of 0 to 100.
High RSI (e.g., above 70) = overbought conditions (asset may be due for a pullback).
Low RSI (e.g., below 30) = oversold conditions (asset may be due for a bounce).
When creating or editing an Auto Trader, you’ll find the RSI Entry Rule under Entry Settings.
Timeframe: Choose the chart timeframe the RSI is calculated from (e.g., 1-minute, 1-hour, or daily chart).
Minimum RSI: Trade only if RSI is greater than or equal to the set value.
Maximum RSI: Trade only if RSI is less than or equal to the set value.
Both: You can define a range (e.g., only trade if RSI is between 30 and 70).
RSI values must be set as whole numbers (e.g., 30, 50, 70).
Oversold Bounce Strategy
You want to enter trades only when the market is oversold.
Set Timeframe = Daily, Max RSI = 30.
The bot will only enter trades if the RSI on the daily chart is 30 or lower.
Overbought Fade Strategy
You want to sell options when the market looks overextended.
Set Timeframe = 1 Hour, Min RSI = 70.
The bot will only enter trades if the RSI on the 1-hour chart is 70 or higher.
Neutral Range Strategy
You only want to trade when RSI is in the middle zone.
Set Min RSI = 40, Max RSI = 60.
The bot will only enter trades if RSI stays between 40 and 60.
Filters trades based on momentum conditions.
Helps you avoid entering trades when the market is stretched too far.
Lets you automate common RSI strategies like overbought selling or oversold buying.
RSI measures momentum on a scale of 0–100.
You choose the timeframe (1-minute, 1-hour, daily).
Set Min, Max, or both to control when trades can enter.
Great for strategies based on overbought/oversold conditions.
