Learn how to quickly generate a trade preview for your options bot. This step-by-step guide helps you verify settings, check strike prices, and ensure your bot places trades correctly before going live.
Step 1: Access Your Bot
Go to your dashboard.
Click on the bot you want to preview.
Click the gear icon to open settings.
Step 2: Open Trade Preview
Find the Trade Preview section under settings.
This shows symbol, expiration, strike prices, and simulates the trade.
Step 3: Generate the Trade Preview
Click Generate Trade Preview.
Wait a few seconds; time depends on the number of options legs.
Review the results: strike prices, expiration dates, and credit.
Step 4: Verify the Data
Compare the preview with the options chain.
Ensure the settings are producing the correct trade.
Step 5: Adjust Settings if Needed
Go to Strategy Details.
Make changes and click Save & Close.
Rerun the trade preview to confirm the updates.
Step 6: Final Check
Confirm the bot is picking trades correctly.
Repeat as needed until settings are correct.
