Disconnecting a broker might seem simple, but it’s important to do it carefully. If done incorrectly, you can lose all trades and bots permanently. This guide will show you how to disconnect safely and give alternatives to protect your trading data.
Open Your Profile
Click your profile image, then select Profile.
Go to Broker Connection
Scroll down to the Broker Connection section.
Here, you’ll see all brokers linked to your account.
Before disconnecting, it’s crucial to know what will happen:
Permanent Deletion: All trades and bots linked to this broker will be deleted forever.
No Recovery: Once deleted, data cannot be restored.
Quick Tip: If you just want to stop bots but keep your data, click the power button on the bot to disable it. This stops activity without deleting trade history.
Select the Broker
Click the broker account you want to disconnect.
Confirm Deletion
Click Disconnect Broker.
Type “disconnect permanently” to confirm.
Complete the Disconnection
Click the approval button to finalize.
Your broker, trades, and bots are now permanently deleted.
Warning: This action cannot be undone. Double-check before confirming.
If you decide to reconnect later:
Go to your profile and click Connect Your Broker.
Important: Previous trades and bots will not return. You will start fresh.
Always double-check before disconnecting.
Use bot disabling to pause strategies without losing data.
