The Legacy Protection feature in Options Auto Trader allows you to plan ahead by designating trusted individuals who can access or manage your OAT account if you pass away or become incapacitated.
This feature is especially helpful if you want to pass your automated trading bots and strategies to your spouse, children, or family members, or if you want to make sure the executor of your estate can easily cancel the subscription or broker connection.
Important:
This feature does not replace the beneficiary or designated account holder on your brokerage account. You should still make sure your brokerage account has proper beneficiaries set. Legacy Protection simply helps our support team transition your Options Auto Trader account to the rightful person more easily.
