If you’ve finished using a bot but don’t want to delete it, you can archive your auto trader. This keeps all your trade history, performance metrics, and P&L data, while removing the bot from your active dashboard.
Log into your Options Auto Trader account.
Go to the Dashboard page.
Click the bot you want to archive.
Click the gear icon to open the Auto Trader Settings popup.
Inside the settings popup, find the dropdown labeled:
Auto Trader Status
You will see three options:
Auto Trader On
Auto Trader Off
Archive Auto Trader
Click the Auto Trader Status dropdown.
Select Archive Auto Trader.
Click Save.
Your bot will now be archived.
You can easily bring an archived bot back at any time:
Go to your Auto Trader Settings.
Find the archived bot (or unhide it if needed).
Change the Auto Trader Status back to:
Auto Trader On (to resume trading), or
Auto Trader Off (to keep it inactive but visible).
Click Save.
Your bot will be restored with all its data intact.
The bot will open new trades.
The bot will manage existing trades.
The bot will NOT open new trades.
The bot will still manage existing trades.
The bot is fully disabled.
The bot is hidden from your dashboard.
No trades will be opened or managed.
Archiving is best when:
You are done using the bot
The bot has no open trades
You want to clean up your dashboard
You want to keep your performance data
Unlike deleting, archiving lets you keep everything saved.
When you archive an auto trader:
✅ Trade history is saved
✅ Performance metrics are preserved
✅ P&L data remains included in your stats
✅ The bot is hidden from view
❌ The bot will not trade or manage positions
