Turning off an autotrader prevents it from entering new trades while still managing your current positions. Follow these steps to turn it off:
Step 1: Locate the Power Button
Go to the Autotrader page.
Look for the power button next to the Auto Trader you want to turn off.
If the button is red, the Auto Trader is off.
If the button is green, the Auto Trader is on.
Step 2: Turn Off the Autotrader
Simply click the power button to turn off the Auto Trader.
When the power button turns red, the Auto Trader will no longer enter new trades, but it will still manage any current open trades.
Step 3: Alternatively Use Settings (Optional)
Click on the gear icon (settings) in the menu.
You’ll see options to toggle the Auto Trader on or off under the "Autotrader" section.
Click Save and Close after making changes.
Step 4: Manage Active Trades After Turning Off the Auto Trader
When the Auto Trader is off (red), it will still monitor and manage your current open trades, such as stop loss and take profit settings.
However, hedged trades won’t be affected because they are ignored by the system.
Step 5: Disable Automation for All Trades (Optional)
If you don’t want the Auto Trader to manage your active trades anymore, click the gear icon and select Disable Automations for All Trades.
This will stop the system from tracking things like stop losses, take profit, or closing the trades automatically.
The trades will still appear in your system for performance tracking but will no longer be actively managed.
Step 6: Delete a Trade (Optional)
If you want to completely remove a trade from your system (without closing it), click the red X next to the trade.
Select Delete this Trade to remove it from the system. Note that this action does not close the trade, but it removes it from your tracking.
Conclusion
Turning off the Auto Trader is a quick way to stop it from entering new positions while still allowing it to manage existing ones. If you want to stop all automation for your trades, you can disable it via the settings. If necessary, you can delete trades to stop tracking them altogether.
