This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to integrate the Options Autotrader with TradingView. It covers setting up a bot for your desired trade, enabling webhooks, generating the webhook URL, and creating an alert in TradingView to automate trades based on specific conditions like price levels or indicators.
Choose the type of trade you want to set up, such as a credit spread or a specific option strategy (e.g., selling a put or 1-1-2 trade).
Select the appropriate bot based on the trade you are setting up.
After setting up the bot, click on it to open its settings.
Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select Entry Rules.
Enable the webhook by clicking on Enable Webhook for this Autotrader.
A new view will appear with the Webhook URL Generator.
Click Generate Webhook URL.
Choose the option to enter a trade based on preset rules (strike price selection set for the autotrader).
The webhook URL will be generated. Copy this URL.
Go to TradingView and create a new alert.
Set the conditions for the alert (e.g., price level, indicator crossing, trendline bounce).
Choose the action for the alert based on your preferences (e.g., price crossing a moving average or trendline).
Once your conditions are set in TradingView, go to the alert settings.
In the Notifications section, paste the webhook URL you copied earlier.
Save the alert.
After setting up the alert and webhook, the autotrader will trigger the specified trade based on the conditions you’ve configured in TradingView.
Ensure everything is functioning as expected.
